Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant needed in Yorktown, NY

Busy Construction Company is seeking a dependable, multifaceted Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of bookkeeping & office duties. Right candidate is a self-starter who can easily adapt in a fast-paced office environment. Construction industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- AP/AR
- Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
- Payroll & Payroll Taxes
- Sales Tax
- Preparing spreadsheets
- Purchase Orders, Change Orders & Lien Waivers
- Maintain & track subcontractor’s Certificates of Insurance
- Answering phones & assisting in all general office tasks, as required.
Requirements/Skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel & Outlook a must)
- Ability to multitask, quickly shifting gears when needed, without losing focus
- Excellent time management
- Strong problem solving & follow up skills
- Excellent organizational & analytical skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work diligently and efficiently
- Must be punctual & reliable
