Support Breeda O’Riordan in the NYC Marathon!

Please support Breeda as she runs in the 2024 New York Marathon. Breeda O’Riordan lives in Cullen, Cork and is a Special Needs Assistant in a primary school. She wants to run for the Aisling Irish Centre as she was heavily involved in the formative years of the center when it moved to McLean Ave, when she was living in Yonkers. Breeda and her husband Tom became involved in 1996 when they saw an ad in a paper looking for Irish Volunteers to help feed homeless, and they remained involved until 2006 when they moved home to Ireland. Breeda helped to feed the homeless community every Monday night, was involved in feeding the emergency services on 9/11, helped people find jobs and accommodation and was even on the welcoming committee when President Mary McAleese visited the Aisling Irish Center, amongst many other things she did while volunteering for the center. Breeda and Tom made lifelong friends through the center, and she is looking forward to being able to represent the Aisling Irish Center once again in November 2024! From everyone at the Aisling Center, best of luck Breeda! Go n-Éirí an Bóthar Leat, Breeda!
